St Helens plans to suspend NHS IVF for women under 37

Fertility Fairness

St Helens CCG is proposing suspending access to NHS IVF treatment for all women under the age of 37; if you disagree with this, please complete this survey before 16th October  https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FJ2LXB3
The CCG will also be holding engagement events during September to provide an opportunity to discuss the proposals with members of the CCG. The events will take place on Thursday 22nd and Tuesday 27th September. More information will be released about these events shortly to find out more please visit www.sthelensccg.nhs.uk

Another way to stop this is to contact your MP. The MPs for St Helens are:

Marie Rimmer MP marie.rimmer.mp@parliament.uk
Conor McGinn MP conor.mcginn.mp@parliament.uk

In order to make this as straightforward as possible for you, Fertility Network UK has prepared a draft email. If you are comfortable doing so, it is helpful to include details of your personal situation: how fertility struggles affect you physically, emotionally, financially and socially. Visit our Campaign for Equitable Treatment page for further information.

If you are potentially affected by these cuts and are happy to express this to the media, please contact Fertility Network UK’s Media Relations Officer Catherine at media@fertilitynetworkuk.org
