I am a registrar in obstetrics and gynaecology with a specialist. I am passionate about helping couples experiencing difficulties with conceiving, and my PhD research thesis was titled improving reproductive outcomes in women with low ovarian reserve. I have also held number of national leadership positions in the past.
I got involved with the Fertility Network because I feel that the healthcare inequalities when it comes to assisted conception treatment provision are unacceptable. I feel passionately that clinicians, patients and the public should join forces to campaign to rectify this. I am also saddened by the high levels of misinformation out there in the public domain about infertility and believe that the fertility network can spearhead the efforts to provide accurate accessible information.
