Our Regional Staff in Wales

Together our role is to provide information, increase support to those who need it most and raise awareness of fertility issues right across Wales.

Wales Co-ordinator (PT)
I joined the organisation at the start of 2016 to develop the information and support service in Wales. I have worked within the charity sector for over 13 years providing advocacy, support and engagement for those affected by conflict, gender based violence, discrimination and health issues. My role is to coordinate our Fertility Network services in Wales to ensure that anyone affected by a fertility issue has access to funding and pathway information, impartial advice and emotional support. I work to raise public awareness and encourage the vital workplace changes that are needed for anyone who is, or has been, affected by this disease. I believe that an informed decision can only be made when a person has access to all the relevant information and that the emotional impact of the fertility journey, at all stages, should be taken more seriously.

Hi, I’m Michèle, the Education Development Officer for Wales, living in Ceredigion. I have over 25 years’ teaching experience in a wide range of contexts. I am really excited about my new challenge to provide information to young people to enable them to safeguard their fertility and reproductive health. I’ll be working with young adults to increase awareness of their future fertility; informing those in universities, colleges and community settings about how certain factors may impact their ability to conceive in the future.
