Single Women Fertility Group

Our next peer support call for Single Women will take place at 7.30pm on 23rd October. This month we are joined by Caroline Spencer, BICA counsellor.

Caroline will be look at undergoing treatment as a single women and in particular looking at coping with the two week wait and failed rounds as well as coming to terms with doing this alone.

Caroline Spencer is on the Executive Committee of the British Infertility Counselling Association.  She has worked extensively with single women before, during and after treatment.  Caroline recognises the unique circumstances faced by solo mums and incorporates that into her work.  She is a fertility counsellor and CBT Psychotherapist working at the Lister Fertility Clinic and in private practice. Caroline has spoken nationally and internationally on solo motherhood, social infertility and donor conception and has conducted and presented her own research.
