Moving On From Treatment: How To Prepare & Cope if Treatment Doesn’t Work

 

 

This group will be about how to prepare and cope in the event of unsuccessful treatment with advice and guidance around this. It is suitable whether you are at the beginning of treatment of have finished treatment. Mariana will give a presentation and be able to answer questions. It will be an opportunity/ chance to talk with others about your own experiences and hopefully feel supported.

Dr Sousa-Leite (MSc, PhD) is a trained scientist-practitioner with a specialised focus on health psychology and reproductive research. She currently holds an ESRC postdoctoral research associate position at the School of Psychology, Cardiff University, UK.

Dr Sousa-Leite completed her PhD in June 2024 at the Cardiff Fertility and Reproductive Research group within this same institution. Her primary research interests span across health psychology, assisted reproductive technology, fertility preservation, parenthood decision-making, and evidence-based practice.
