Ian Stones says: Day 3 of trekking today!

Today was just about acclimatisation although we started with some really quite special 5am short hike to watch the sunrise behind Everest, just beautiful and so emotional yet again.

Back to our lodge for breakfast before a 400m ascent to the Everest view lodge. Again stunning views that words just can’t express.

Today for me personally has been a bit more challenging. Feeling pretty drained but just having to push on and do what needs to be done. This trek was always gonna be a massive challenge and what I’ve already achieved is way beyond anything I could have imagined just 18 months ago when I signed us all up!!
