17.5 hours per week – Initial 1-year contract (based in Scotland)
Salary: £10,692.50
The Volunteer Co-ordinator will be responsible for recruiting and growing the number of actively engaged volunteers; producing a regular volunteer e-Newsletter; co-ordinating volunteer support activities with other key staff; managing volunteer social media groups and ensuring appropriate volunteer training programmes are in place.
You will also be involved in facilitating training sessions, providing advice and support, maintain current level of volunteers and liaise with partners and stakeholders to promote the service.
Candidates should have previous experience of working with individuals in a community setting, combined with knowledge and understanding of community development and ideally with an understanding of volunteering.
