I have over 20 years’ experience of working with public sector and charity organisations. In my role as the Development Officer for South West Scotland my aim is to raise awareness of fertility treatment including the emotional impact, help educate young people on protecting their future fertility and supporting people with fertility issues.
I am committed to helping and supporting others affected with fertility issues providing advice and appropriate information of the support available. Having been on my own fertility journey I can provide personal insight on the various treatments from a patient’s perspective.
Educational Development Officer for North East Scotland (PT)
I previously worked for many years in the public sector, mainly within social housing. In my role as the Educational Development Officer for North East Scotland, my aim is to create awareness about how to protect your future fertility by providing information to a range of organisations including colleges, universities, voluntary organisations, GPs, sexual health clinics and many more.
I am committed to helping and supporting others affected with fertility issues, providing advice and appropriate information of the support available. Having been on my own fertility journey I understand the emotional impact this has on people’s lives.
Educational Development Officer for South & West Scotland (PT)
I believe it is vital that young people are educated about fertility and how they can protect their future fertility. As Education Development Officer for South & West Scotland I will ensure this important message reaches as many young people as possible through the Scottish Education Programme.
Having faced my own fertility challenges, including endometriosis and IVF, I wish to assist others facing a fertility journey by sharing the information, advice and support that is available.
