Clare’s London to Brighton Challenge

On 27^th May I am taking part in the London to Brighton marathon. I struggled to conceive and after two years of trying it was found that I had polycystic ovaries. The Fertility Network UK really helped me when I felt that I had no one to talk to (especially Christmas time when I was surrounded by children and it felt like the whole world was becoming pregnant without any hassle). I wanted to be happy for all the new babies and Fertility Network UK helped me through this. After a laparoscopy in March 2015, we decided to give up on baby making for a while, so we booked a safari holiday, bought a new house and I started a new job. Then…SURPRISE…I was pregnant. I remember my husband actually collapsing onto the bed in a state of shock, happiness and disbelief.

I want to raise money for this fantastic charity, as I honestly think the forum kept me sane and reminded me that I wasn’t alone.
