For those successful after fertility issues

If you have been successful in conceiving after fertility issues, or have used other family building options to complete your family, we are here to support you.

If you have been through the rollercoaster of fertility treatment and are now pregnant, you may feel worried and anxious about the pregnancy. If you are in the early days of parenting, particularly if you have taken a long time to have your family, you may feel overwhelmed by the desire to be a ‘perfect’ parent.  You may have used donor treatment to conceive, or had your family through adoption or surrogacy. All these situations can bring their own worries and anxieties, particularly in the early days.

We have included information about pregnancy after fertility treatment, as well as information on multiple births. We recognise that it can be difficult to explain assisted conception to children, particularly if donor sperm or embyos have been used. We hope the information here as well as external links we have included will be helpful to you.

If you can’t find the information you are looking for, or would like to suggest we include information on a specific issue, please contact us.

Whatever your circumstances, we offer information, support, advice and coping strategies on ways to help you appreciate and enjoy your life now that you are finally a family.
