Bourn Hall Clinic – Free Fertility Awareness Event

6 Mar 2019 Bourn Hall, High Street, Bourn, Cambridge, UK

Do you want to find out more about your fertility? Do you want to know what tests to do, when and why? If you are at the beginning of your fertility journey and want to learn about what help is available our free event at Bourn Hall Clinic, near Cambridge, could be just right for you.

80% of couples will become pregnant within one year so if you have been trying for longer than this you should seek advice. Most people don’t realise that 40% of infertility cases are due to a male factors, 40% are due to female factors and the remaining 20% are either a combination of both partners’ factors or are unknown/unexplained – so expert advice is invaluable.

At the event there will be an opportunity to discuss how to boost natural fertility and to find out about the most frequent reasons for infertility, such as low sperm count; failure to release eggs (ovulate) regularly; fibroids or endometriosis and how to treat them.

It is well known that fertility declines with age but there are many other causes. Common reasons for infertility such as blocked fallopian tubes or low sperm count won’t be improved by waiting, so it is important that these conditions are addressed to maximise your chances of conception.

Event format

The event will include expert presentations and an opportunity for you to have a private, free “mini” consultation with one of our Fertility Nurse Specialists. This is your opportunity to have an informal chat about your current situation and your next steps.

If you find that it’s appropriate for you to have some fertility tests we are also currently offering half price fertility health + well being checks at all our clinics.

Please note that booking is necessary – either complete the form at www.bournhall.co.uk/events or for more information call Leanne or Lydia on 01954 717210.
