Bourn Hall Cambridge Fertility Fayre

Bourn Hall Cambridge hosts event in Fertility Awareness Week, on 3rd November 2018

The vast majority of couples trying to start a family will conceive within two years, so if you have not become pregnant after 12 months it might be a good time to start seeking expert advice about improving fertility.

Bourn Hall is hosting its third annual Fertility Fayre on Saturday 3 November 2018 at its historic clinic in Bourn just outside of Cambridge, to coincide with this year’s National Fertility Awareness Week.

The aim of the Fertility Fayre is to give you the best chance of getting pregnant; it offers a wide range of stalls all under one roof, with experts on hand to give advice on boosting fertility.

For most couples there are a number of practical steps which can be taken to improve the chances of getting pregnant naturally, and only a very small percentage of people need to have fertility treatment or IVF.

At the Fertility Fayre there will be the opportunity to meet a number of independent practitioners, complementary therapists and organisations that can help with making lifestyle changes such as with nutrition and losing weight.

In addition, Bourn Hall experts will be on hand to explain about the common causes of infertility and what fertility health and wellbeing tests can tell you about your reproductive health and next steps. There will also be representatives from our fertility support group and information on alternative ways of funding any treatment you might need.

The event follows Bourn Hall’s two previous Fertility Fayres which both received very positive feedback. Visitors reported that they appreciated the relaxed and informal atmosphere, which allowed them the opportunity to spend time talking to a range of health support groups, therapists and fertility experts.

The event is entirely free of charge and will run from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 3 November at Bourn Hall Clinic, Bourn CB23 2TN. There is plenty of free parking on site.
